The classic Gordian knot

I wonder how we can still live in a world where the threat of nuclear war exists?

Where we assume our dominion over nature and earth – to take and plunder at our whim?

Where we can blithely continue as the sea shores get eaten by rising seas and the drought, floods and fire reach Biblical proportions. 

Surely we might reach a stage where the ambition to preserve beauty, animals, our home planet exceeds our short term aims to hold power and be the strong man? 

Such a complex web has been woven to get us to here. The classic Gordian knot. No one simple solution. No hero arriving soon. No easy answer. 

It is up to us, we the people, those who do not inhabit the halls of power and privilege. All of us at the grassroots levels. Approaching the needed change from one thousand fronts. Working together.
