The primary role of humans

Nature is a totally efficient, self-regenerating system. If we discover the laws that govern this system and live synergistically within them sustainability will follow and humankind will be a success. R.Buckminster Fuller

Nature had resilience built in.

It doesn’t do monopoly. Diversity is key.

It is constantly changing, evolving, emerging.

Hierarchy exists everywhere. From atoms to cells to molecules to organisms.

From predators to prey. But in balance. As we learn from the Lion King movie, if the predator eats everything they will starve. If there are too many predators, they end up eating each other.

Humans have a unique role, one we knew before and need to re-learn. To be steward custodians of the land, of nature, of our future.

It is perhaps one of our primary roles.
