The space for holding opposing opinions
I can be the person who thinks we are over-vaccinating children, yet I am not an anti-vaxer.
I can be the person who believes that indications of a healthy advanced nation-state are free health care for all, free high-quality education for all through to tertiary, affordable housing, everyone automatically on the voting roll with the option to opt-out, not-for-profit child care and elder care for all AND a thriving innovative business ecosystem. That this is not ‘socialism’ but how we elevate the entire society.
The ratcheting up of black and white, right and wrong, hard polarised opinions has squeezed out options for people to have conversations that exist in the space between.
The opportunity for these types of conversations, where we bring our open hearts and minds, where we are willing to deeply listen to another, to not sit in our prison of righteousness, is what happens in the Warm Data Labs.
If you would like to participate in this type of human-to-human conversation, you can register for the final Warm Data lab here.
