The thread of hope
Hope is the voice that says that good, right and justice will prevail in the end.
If that voice is gone, if hope is lost, then we are lost.
To feel hopeless is a soul death.
The thread of hope, even if tenuous, is precious.
In dark times hold the thread as if your life depends upon it.
And when you meet a fellow clinging to hope, to gift them renewed hope is the most powerful gift you can give. Be generous. We are all but a moment from needing that lifeline.
