There is no magic in average
Average is not a bad thing. There are definitely times I want to merge with a crowd and be a part of, versus apart from.
However when we are creating experiences, when we want people to taste touch feel magic, average is a price we cannot afford. We must transcend the plain, the familiar. We must hold out for the exceptional.
This is the time to handle all of the details with exquisite attention. To give 100% and then more.
People pay extra for magic. People will line up for magic. We want that transcendent experience. Not every day, all day long.
But the stunning, the extraordinary.
Awe.
Of those moments that linger in our being for eternity.
