This is a perfect holiday

Surf for two hours at dawn. Coffee. Breakfast. Surf again. Lunch. Sleep. Surf. Dinner sleep.

Repeat. 

Sleep like a dead person. Eat to fuel.

Soaked in the ocean for hours. The water temperature like a bath.

This is a perfect holiday.

Spiced with different language, culture, food and customs.

Surrounded by people from so many different cultures. Trying to catch the place of origin as I catch fragments of conversation.

A buffalo-driven cart is going past as I type.

The fisherman on the beach. The dawn catch done.

Dogs and crows, tuk-tuks and scooters. 

Few clothes, no makeup, jewellery, or embellishment. 

Bare feet. 

Happy. Lucky. At peace.
