Time now for an infinite game

Surplus = full, much, many

Excess = going beyond what is necessary

Governments hold this aspiration to be in surplus, built off the back of the illusion that countries with sovereign currency are like households. 

When a government is in surplus it means that our tax dollars – money extracted from the people – is more than the government is spending on public goods – health, education, infrastructure.

Capitalism requires more extraction from – than it gives in return.

To have excess will be off the back of others having less. To go beyond what is necessary. And is so doing fail to look at the all-in-cost to Earth, our future and our Soul in its rapid starvation for meaning, connection, love…to see accumulation as nourishment.

Now tell me again, why is this the model we teach to be successful and achieve the one to aspire to? 

And why do we hold billionaires as people of great achievement and worth?

It is a win-lose game. 

Time now for an infinite game. All winners.
