We are the custodians of deep and ancient thresholds

To cross a threshold, to step from one world to another, be that the threshold of a house, a nation, a relationship….is to partner with change.

Yet we discount the significance of thresholds. 

From child to adult. From a person who spends their days working with this team or that. From being a guest in a home, a city, a land.

Great thresholds…birth, death, vows, partnerships in life and business, from maiden, mother, crone; boy, man, elder….seek a thorough contemplation of their significance, of the transformation that is invited, of the portent held in the chemistry of the threshold.

To create threshold crossings that are deliberate, thoughtful, invite sovereign choice, invoke reverence, and weave threads of the sacred liminal spaces of the threshold, is to declare clearly that on the other side of the threshold lives a different set of values, expectations, agreements….
