What will you accept?
Are you unafraid of deep transformation?
Where do you place yourself in circumstances that test this hypothesis?
How does risk sit upon your shoulders?
Under what circumstances is the line crossed, where to stay safe in the status quo becomes untenable?
What will you accept?
And what will you stand for?
These questions are the questions we must consider today, as supplicants bend their knee to corruption and hate.
How far are we willing to go?
Will we be the ones who risk all to save those who have been discarded like broken toys?
I think of those people in Nazi Europe who sheltered Jews at great cost. I think of the journalists and writers who speak out and are imprisoned or lose their jobs for daring to disclose truth.
In times like these, our character – who we really are – is tested.
Often we do not know the strength of our character until it is tested.
