Winter sun
I live in a summer country. The beach is my playground. In the peak of December summer brings humidity that requires early mornings to do anything of comfort outdoors. It is dawn at 4.40 AM.Â
This morning, as I write this watching the winter sunrise at 6.35AM, it is about 7 degrees Celsius. But so beautiful. The air clear, whales breeching as they swim north to breed, the sky empty of clouds.
These days are rare and few. While the pain of the cold is short lived, the beauty captures me. Winter sun, clear sky, warm ocean.Â
I feel alive and thankful.
