Your main act

One of the beauties of age is we can look back and make sense of the journey. 

For so many years I felt lost. Pulled in directions that seemed misaligned and off-script. Yet compelled to take that path, nonetheless. 

The threads were always there. Integrity. Zero exploitation. Radical truth. Beauty.

My motivation was often fuelled by a rage I was born with. I was the intervening party against injustice and the bully.

It is hard to walk this type of path. No solid map. No certainty. Safety and security only found in my trust in self. Definitely an unconventional path.

There are no guarantees it will work out, whatever ‘work out’ means.

Looking back now I see every step, every decision, and every lesson learned was building a foundation.

Some people live their main act in their youth, some in the middle years. I get to live my main act in my latter years. Every step was worth it.
