An intention untangled from expectation and the want for perfection

An intention untangled from expectation and the want for perfection

Disappointment

Comes when we are expecting something that does not happen.

Perfection is that quest, eternal, insatiable, that seeks everything to match our expectations.

Both quests are for fools gold.

When we stop expecting something approaching to be perfect, when we give up the attachment to form, we invite novelty, generativity, surprise.

The delight is found in the arrival of the unexpected. In the perfection of the imperfection.

Intention, on the other hand, is to hold a field of possibility for arrival of, without needing to be attached to the form, shape, or time of the arrival.

To hold an intention untangled from expectation and the want for perfection is to invite the Universe to deliver gifts of infinite delight.
