Perfectly imperfect happy life
Obsessed with future perfection is not a way to live. Yet finding perfection in the moment is one of the most amazing ways to live.
This morning was perfect. It was unplanned. Flowing. Effortless.
The sunrise was perfect and different to every other sunrise.
The waves were perfect, yet each wave was different, bringing their own set of challenges.
My surfing was imperfect yet perfect for where I am in my surfing journey.
The entire morning was perfect.
When we hold perfection as the expectation, we are very likely to be disappointed. When we hold enjoying or loving the moment, even the bumpy bits, as our goal, we live a perfectly imperfect happy life.
