The twins of Empire are in a death spiral
Apparently, the world thinks it is acceptable to board boats in International Waters and take prisoners. The people whose only wrong is the desire to deliver aid to people who are being deliberately starved of aid. The old ‘but Hamas’ simply doesn’t stand.
But then the world rolled over when the president of the USA dropped into another country and kidnapped their leader. The USA has been violating the rights of countries for most of its existence, including Iran. Cuba next. (Again.)
We shrug and move on. And yes, the Global Sumud Flotilla is a political act. It must be. Because the politicians of the West, with rare exception, are captured by the pariah states of the USA and Israel, and do nothing, their silence becomes increasingly shocking to those who watch live-streamed horror.
How the international hostages of an act of piracy are treated and showcased on public video by the head of national security, as evil a human as you could imagine, who gloated over the decorations of his 50th birthday cake depicting a noose, simply evidences that how the Israelis treat Palestinian hostages in secret is likely to be far, far worse. Not likely, for we all watched the video of the rape of the Palestinian man by a gang of Israeli men, yet the main perpetrator is now a national TV hero.
The competing news cycle of the massive funding campaign by AIPAC to remove Thomas Massie, who opposed the obscene funding the USA taxpayers make to Israel, contrasts with this shocking display of supremacy by Ben-Gvir.
Funding at the expense of health care for Americans. The kairos timing of these two events is worthy of note.
The offenders deny. Just as they deny the cruelty and genocide in Gaza.
Simultaneously, they deny access to the prisons and to Gaza to any Western Journalists.
Integrity says if you have nothing to hide or defend, open the doors.
The doors and walls remain closed. As if there is something to hide.
With rare exception, elections are purchased. Offering only an illusion of democracy. America is not a democracy, hard to argue after seeing the amount of money spent to remove Thomas Massie. It is a plutocracy.
Corruption. Cruelty. Supremacy. Hate. Genocide. Apartheid. Just another normal day.
If you have nothing to hide, open the doors. Yet the irony is, the evidence is all there. Recorded in the gloating videos of Ben-Gvir, Israeli soldiers, and the settlers. In the audio of Hind Rajab in her final, desperate hours.
And this is the tragedy. We watch as our governments do nothing.
However, no amount of money spent by Israel on the propaganda machine can put the genie back in the bottle.
The supremacy and its precessional effects are clear.
