We get to choose how we respond

The day has begun with rain.

Hopes and dreams crafted over 7 years have focused on this day.

Will the rain hold off for the big event?

This is life.

We do not always get what we want, yet in the getting we get to choose how we respond.

If it’s raining, bring rain boots and play in puddles with the delight of a child.

Join the ranks of those rare few who make life joyous no matter what.

Hah…now that is a spiritual practice.

I have much to learn on this path.
