A touch of the obvious
We humans are strange creatures. The number of times the obvious was right in front of me, yet I was blind to it.
Perhaps sometimes our vision needs to be pulled back from the horizon of tomorrow. Our habit to seek the future through the encouragement of plans and goals so deeply embedded in our psyche.
It is now, here, in this moment that the solution to our very next step lies. Not on some distant horizon.
Taking the next step, the one right in front of us is what requires our attention. Towards a vision, yes! Guided by a set of values and principles, yes! Held in the beloved arms of clear boundaries, yes!
Here, now, in the field around us, lies the requisite tools to provision our next step.
