Adaptability, emergence and expectations

Adaptability, emergence and expectations

If we expect something to happen in a particular way, in a particular time frame we have immediately locked out the infinite possibilities of life.

The stronger the expectation, the more likely we will be disappointed.

To hold an intention that does not insist on particular forms or timeframes allows adaptability as we dance with the constant of all life.

Emergence.

Present time keeps us right at the threshold of emergence.

The ability to hold intention while staying in present time is to hold polarity and tension, and hence to create space and shape for possibility.

An expectation imposes our ideal onto a person or a situation or an event.

It is a form of domination against elements over which we have no control.

To be adaptable, to dance with emergence on the path to an intention is where life and aliveness lives.
