Arrogance blinds us

Arrogance blinds us

Arrogance and superiority ignore true feedback, for there is no room for truth.

The creep of superiority into any part of human existence is the greatest threat to all life.

Be that at the personal level.

The leadership level

The nation-state level.

To see arrogance and superiority breed within, to catch them early and cast them out, is an act of courage and integrity.

To call out leadership that postures on greatness, generating a rotten myth of superiority, is the work we must all do.

And to refuse to be a nation that believes its own superiority story, is to embrace the wonder of life as equally diverse, differently great, multi-dimensionally enriching.

Life lives and thrives in diversity and dies in monoculture.

That is nature’s way. We might yet learn to heed her intelligence.
