Eternal Truths
Upavita is an old Sanskrit term for the eternal thread and fine filament of golden imagination that makes each life unique, from the beginning.
In Syntropic World we adopted the term coined by Buckminster Fuller. “Pattern Integrity” as meaning the same thing.
Against a backdrop of scientific rationalism, hyper-measurement, evidence-based everything, and the polar pair to the post-truth, no truth, lies-as-currency-of-power world, there is a ground of truth.
Eternal. Weightless. Often immeasurable. Incomprehensible by the brain, only to be feasted on by the whole mind body being Universe that we are.
The poetry of the mystics captures this, and in their words that speak to the exquisite simplicity on the other side of complexity, absent reductionism, we are magnetically pulled.
Eternal truths, unwrapped from dogma, naked in their beauty, feed our parched-from-truth souls.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I will meet you there.
When the soul lies down in the grass the world is too full to talk about. Rumi
In Bucky Fuller’s book, Critical Path, he begins by writing. “I have come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as right and wrong.”
The question….are we, fellow travellers, able to find that field that Rumi speaks of, so we may begin to heal the fracture?
