On the road

Not yet able to relax but feeling the one thousand things that have fighting for first place in my mind begin to lose their grip.

Exhale.

The sunrise on this day on the road throwing everything down. So beautiful she demands my attention as she changes phases.

Exhale.

The heartache of leaving our little dog behind. National Parks are not the place for dogs.

Exhale.

Adventure awaits. Simplicity. Mostly off-grid. A basket of books. Surfboards. The ocean, walks, cold mornings, fire-cooked food.

This. Soul medicine.

My inner kinks and tightness loosen.

We are on the road.
