People on every margin are lawed over

Frank Wilhoit sums up our geopolitics precisely.

Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.

It is both fascinating and macabre to watch the ‘in-group’ get away with everything. Lawlessness. Corruption. Hypocrisy.

An Empire state of mind. Which is what it is. “I am Empire. The law protects me from you. But I can do whatever the hell I like. Watch me.’

As the taxes are not paid, the laws are bent to their will, the exploitation and extraction are amplified, the nepotism is rampant, and the wealth accumulation from positions of obscene power goes exponential.

And we, the people, get bent backwards, reduced, redacted, erased.

The law wraps us in knots. But gives us no recourse. Justice is a sham.

Women stay silent after rape, because to speak against the law of patriarchy is an almost impossible Everest to climb.

People on every margin are lawed over. No escape. No justice.

The in-group likes it just as it is.

There is a revolution on the horizon. Can you feel it?
