We are all minorities

We want to stop something from happening.

Let’s say we want to stop discrimination and racism. 

You do not do this by being racist or discriminating.

Violence begets violence.

Ethnonationalism begets ethnonationalism. 

You cannot end ethnonationalism and discrimination against minorities as the minority by becoming an ethnonationalist and discriminating against minorities.

I watch the world spiral into horror enacted by people perpetrating the very thing they were legitimate victims of, and my heart breaks many times each day. 

It is never the solution. For as long as humans have walked the Earth. 

Somewhere on our home planet, we are all minorities. 

The majority has a moral and ethical obligation to minorities. For the moment they do not, they are the bullies. 

*The majority can be by gender, race, religion, ableness, education, access to power, access to finance, military might, and resource access.
