We are the economy
Economy means to care for the home.Â
Once we realise that this economy thing is not separate from us – it is not some strange beast outside of us that seems to work like a puppet on strings, strings pulled by nefarious actors – we can claim the power that we have always had.Â
We create the economy through our everyday acts and choices.
We are the puppeteers. The economy is a result of our actions.Â
How might we care for our home planet?Â
Is this not the better question? It is a question that I love to ask.Â
How might we care for our home? Really care for it, and all our homes creatures that work synergistically and through interdependent cycles.
The illusion that we the people are at the effects of the economy is one of the greatest illusions of all.Â
