What moves people?

May 11, 2026
Sunset over the ocean with dark clouds and a warm golden glow near the horizon, gentle waves washing onto a sandy beach.

What moves people?

What moves people? Awe, surprise and astonishment. The moment we drop our capacity for awe, for being surprised, we fall into the shadow of cynicism.

It is easy to fall down this rabbit hole of cynicism. Being burnt by shoddy suppliers, broken promises, woeful customer service. Being broken and beaten down by life.

The very next person may delight you. The very next service delivery may astound you. Seek it.

Deliver service that astounds, delights and surprises. Be unforgettable for all the right reasons.

Clever, you may be. But without your wholeheartedness, clever is dull and uninspiring.

Sell your cleverness, buy bewilderment.

A bow to Rumi for this quote.
