The act of regaining power
I love it when I see people take back their power
I delight in the dawning recognition that it was available to them all along.
And that, finally, as they grasp at the tentacles of their power, with each lash of venom directed back at them, their grip tightens, and their resolve deepens.
The fine tentacles become a rope. A rope that cannot be lost again.
It is a pleasure to observe.
The act of regaining power is not to dominate. The act is to no longer be dominated. To stand rooted and resilient against those who seek to subjugate.
To be able to look into the eyes of power to dominate and say no. Not me. Not by you. Never again.
