Letting go of communities

Letting go of communities

As we get older and wiser, time becomes precious.

How and with whom we spend our time matters.

If we find ourselves in a community, family or work environment that is hostile and toxic, the faster we let that community go, the better our health.

Yet we might also find ourselves in communities where toxicity is absent, yet resonance is missing. The community just doesn’t fit who we are becoming any more. The people are good people, but not the people we need to surround ourselves with as we begin to stand tall in our becoming and belonging.

Letting go is an affirmation of what we need and desire for our emergent self.

Letting go is a declaration of worth.
