Life is eternally emergent

I think about the impossibility of returning to what once was.

This quest denies the existence of change as a constant.

Each cell in our body has changed. We are different. Our view of the world has shifted.

The Earth itself has changed, rocks being shaped over time by wind, rain and heat.

The idiocracy of humans thinking we can go back to what was is another way of saying humans have dominion over Nature, time and evolution.

Life is eternally emergent. Fools long for what once was, rather than invest in creating a better now.
